‘일하기 좋은 공간’에 대한 고민을 이어온 우아한형제들이 새롭게 선보이는 기업 브랜딩 프로젝트의 일환으로 선보이는 오피스 화보 ‘내가 사랑하는 우리 공간’은 일하는 공간, 그리고 그 안에 담긴 이야기를 브랜드 구성원이 직접 모델이 되어 표현하는 패션 화보로 우아한형제들 특유의 유쾌하고 크리에이티브한 기업 문화를 잘 드러내고 있다.
화보에 등장하는 총 6명의 모델은 개발자, 디자이너, 총무, 영업, 기획 등 우아한형제들의 다양한 직군에서 선발됐다. 20대 1의 사내 경쟁률을 뚫고 선발된 이들인 만큼 생애 첫 패션 화보 촬영임에도 과감하고 자연스러운 포즈를 연출했다. 오피사이트또한, 블랙핑크, 크리스탈, 레드벨벳, 엑소 등과 작업한 YEYEWRKS가 아트 디렉팅을 맡아 우아한형제들 구성원 모델의 개성을 자연스럽게 이끌어내면서도 공간의 매력을 살리는 연출로 완성했다.
‘내가 사랑하는 우리 공간’ 화보의 주인공들은 회사에서 가장 사랑하는 공간을 직접 골랐다. 회사 로비, 집중업무공간, 비상계단, 벽화 앞, 수영장 콘셉트로 꾸며진 휴게 공간 등 우아한형제들의 사내 공간 곳곳에 회사 구성원들의 다양한 이야기가 더해졌다. 각각의 구성원이 꼽은 공간과 이야기는 우아한형제들 기업 브랜딩 웹사이트 ‘배민다움 today’에서 확인할 수 있다.
한편, 지난달 말에는 360도 카메라로 회사 구석구석을 소개하는 새로운 방식의 온라인 투어 영상 ‘어디서 일해요?’를 공개하기도 했다. 앞으로도 우아한형제들은 ‘일하기 좋은 회사’에 대한 고민과 탐구 정신을 바탕으로 대한민국 직장인들이 공감할 수 있는 다양한 이야기를 전할 예정이다.내년 상업용 부동산 공간 구성 핵심 키워드가 '하이브리드 워크'와 '지속 가능성'이 될 것이라는 전망이다. 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 대유행에 따른 업무 환경 변화를 수용하고 전 세계 과제로 떠오른 탄소 저감을 위해서다.
13일 상업용 부동산 데이터 전문 기업 알스퀘어가 발표한 '2023년 오피스 인테리어 키워드'에 따르면 △열린 공간 △지구를 지켜라 △기술과의 결합, 진정한 스마트 오피스 △실용성은 영원하다 △유니버설(universal) 디자인 등이 내년 상업용 부동산 공간 구성 핵심 키워드로 꼽혔다.사무실은 유연하고 열린 공간이 된다. 직원들이 어디서든 근무할 수 있도록 업무와 휴식 공간이 구분되지 않는다. 노트북이나 태블릿을 둘 수 있는 테이블이나 편히 앉을 수 있는 소파 등이 사무실 곳곳에 배치된다. 사무실의 모든 공간이 일터가 된다는 점에서 '플로팅 워크스페이스'가 되는 셈이다.
사무용 가구도 이에 맞춰 변화 중이다. 업무 방식과 조직 구성에 따라 가구 배치나 용도를 자유롭게 바꿀 수 있는 제품이 선호된다. 모듈식 가구가 대표적이다. 모듈형 가구로 유명한 스위스 업체 'USM'은 오피스 라인을 따로 운영한다. 스위스의 '비트라' 역시 모듈형 가구를 선보이며 직원들의 변화된 니즈를 반영하고 있다.
재택근무가 새로운 업무 패턴으로 자리 잡았지만, 기업은 여전히 오프라인 근무를 배제하지 않는다. 직원 간 대면 소통과 여기서 나오는 아이디어, 협업 시너지를 포기할 수 없어서다. 알스퀘어는 "두 업무 방식을 섞은 '하이브리드 워크' 중심으로 업무 환경이 바뀌며 오프라인 사무실에서도 재택근무와 같은 환경을 누릴 수 있는 공간 구성이 늘 것"이라고 했다.탄소 배출 저감이 각국의 핵심 과제로 떠오르면서 친환경 인테리어가 상업용 부동산 공간 트렌드를 주도한다. 지속 가능한 사무실을 위해 목재와 석재 등의 자연 소재가 많이 사용되며, 업사이클 가구, 발광다이오드(LED) 조명, 종이 없는 업무환경이 빠르게 정착할 전망이다. 자연과 어우러진 바이오필릭 디자인 유행도 계속된다. 최근 정부가 거론한 ‘실내 마스크 해제’에 대한 기대감으로 쾌적한 공간에 대한 관심도 높아질 것으로 보인다.국제에너지기구(IEA)에 따르면 2021년 기준으로 빌딩 운영과 건설, 기타 건설·인프라 산업은 매년 전 세계 이산화탄소 배출량의 40%를 차지한다. 올해 문을 연 '애플스토어 잠실'의 경우 100% 재생에너지로 운영한다. 명동 '나이키 서울'도 매장 내 구조물, 디스플레이 아이템, 마감재에 지속가능한 재활용 자재를 활용해 친환경 건물 인증제도인 'LEED' 인증과 '트루 제로 웨이스트' 운영 인증을 획득했다.
알스퀘어는 "파리협정 이행을 위해 2050년까지 '탄소 제로'를 실현해야 하는 만큼 상업용 부동산 공간 트렌드도 변화할 수밖에 없다"고 설명했다.
스마트 오피스로의 진화가 가속화된다. 그동안의 스마트 오피스는 IT 기술을 통해 건물 에너지와 냉·난방, 공기 질을 관리하고 원격근무와 자리 예약 등 일하기 좋은 환경을 만드는 수준이었다. 앞으로의 스마트오피스는 로봇이나 인공지능(AI), 클라우드, 자율주행, 5G 등을 통해 건물 자체가 거대한 IT 플랫폼 기능을 한다. 지난해 네이버가 선보인 신사옥 '1784'가 대표적인 사례다.
마이크로소프트의 '팀즈'나 '노션', '줌' 등의 비즈니스 플랫폼으로 소규모 미팅이나 화상 회의, 협업과 분업 등이 활발히 이뤄지는 만큼 공간도 이를 수용하는 방향으로 바뀔 것으로 예상된다. 이지수 알스퀘어디자인 설계본부장은 "기존 빌딩을 이런 공간으로 전환하긴 쉽지 않다"면서도 "출퇴근이나 업무 방식 변화에 따라 스마트 오피스로의 변화는 계속될 것"이라고 내다봤다.감염병 대유행에 따른 업무환경 변화로 사무실은 생산성과 효율성을 극대화할 수 있는 자원이 된다. 오프라인 근무의 존재 이유이기 때문이다. 사무실이 소란스럽거나 번잡하면 업무 효율성은 급격히 떨어진다. 이 때문에 화상 회의실이나 전화 부스 등을 갖추는 사무실이 많아진다. 실용성은 결코 유행을 타지 않는다.
이미 다수의 기업이 이런 형태의 공간 구성을 선보이고 있다. 삼성전자의 거점오피스 '딜라이트'는 사내에 몰입 공간을 따로 만들었다. 1인 독서실 형태의 몰입 좌석, 전화 부스 등이다. SK텔레콤의 거점 오피스 '스피어'는 비대면 회의를 위한 독립 1인 회의 공간 '스피어 팟'을 마련했다. 카카오 신사옥 판교 아지트는 총 350여개의 회의 공간을 갖췄다.
프라임급 오피스에서나 볼 수 있던 피트니스룸, GX, 판매점 등의 복지공간을 사내에 도입하려는 니즈가 커질 것으로 보인다. 임직원 복지가 기업의 중요한 가치가 되고, 이런 공간을 통해 구성원의 창의력을 불러일으키려는 시도에 대해 기업이 긍정적으로 보기 때문이다.유니버설 디자인은 '연령, 성별, 국적, 장애 유무에 관계없이 누구나 편안하게 사용하는 보편적 디자인'을 뜻한다. 보통 다중이용시설이나 광장에 많이 적용됐는데, 사무실에도 이런 트렌드가 빠르게 적용되고 있다.
구글코리아는 개인 업무공간에 시각장애인 점자를, 바닥에 노란 점자 블록을 설치했다. 복도를 넓히고, 슬라이딩 도어와 자동문을 통해 휠체어가 쉽게 다닐 수 있도록 했다. 카카오 자회사 링키지랩은 휠체어가 통과할 수 있는 통로를 갖췄고 문턱을 없앴다. 허리 높이의 스위치, 터치식 자동문 등 다양한 유니버설 디자인 요소를 적용했다.독일 뮌헨을 기반으로 하는 건축 스튜디오 뷰로 바그너(Buero Wagner)는 다양한 산업자재를 사용하여 실버 톤의 컬러가 인상적인 사무실을 디자인했다. 뷰로 바그너는 이번 리노베이션의 대상이 된 사무실에 새로운 인테리어를 입혔을 뿐만 아니라 지하를 포함하여 사무실의 공간을 더 넓게 확장했다. 확장을 통해 높은 천장이 있는 복층 구조가 된 오피스는 총 140㎡이며, 지상층과 지하층을 모두 커버하는 커다란 유리창이 설치되어 밝은 빛이 잘 들어오는 공간으로 변모했다.뷰로 바그너를 이끌고 있는 독일의 건축가 파비안 바그너(Fabian Wagner)는 1981년 뮌헨에서 태어나 독일과 미국에서 자랐다. 그는 양 국가에서 건축학을 공부하고 네덜란드 로테르담에 기반을 두고 있는 MVRDV와 같은 대형 건축 스튜디오에서 실무 경험을 쌓았다. 그 이후 2013년에 뷰로 바그너를 설립한 뒤 프리랜서 건축가로써 다양한 작업을 이어나가고 있다.
새로운 모습의 오피스는 오직 화이트와 실버로 구성된 컬러 팔레트가 돋보이고, 아연 도금된 강철 소재로 만들어진 가구 등 산업용 자재들로 제작된 흥미로운 오브제들이 있다. 뷰로 바그너는 이와 관련해 “내부 인테리어를 위해 다양한 산업용 표준 자재들을 사용했습니다. 이러한 자재들은 일반적으로 관습적이며 진부하게 느껴집니다. 하지만 우리는 그들을 이질적이고 신선한 맥락에서 가공하고 사용함으로써 새로운 가치를 부여하고 싶었습니다. 진부한 소재에 새로운 관점을 의도적으로 더하는 행위, 그리고 그 결과에 대해서 열린 질
